On behalf of the officers and staff of Local 1000A, I am inviting you to submit nominations for the 2015 Outstanding Member Achievement awards.
These annual awards recognize outstanding commitment, dedication and activism in the following categories (one award worth $500 per category):
- Leadership and Advancement of the UFCW
- Fundraising for Leukemia Research
- Contributions to the Community
- Promoting Health & Safety in the Workplace
- Human Rights (new category for 2015)
Local 1000A is home to many incredible members and activists dedicated to improving their workplace and/or their communities. This award is about honouring their outstanding efforts and encouraging increased activism among our membership base.
