Ontario's Union for fairness, equality and respect at work.

Local 1006A Members attend UFCW Canada's National Youth Conference

Want to make new friends, learn new skills and make a difference? Then, UFCW Canada Local 1006A’s Youth Network is for you.

As a union member, you are part of a progressive and compassionate movement which works to make a difference in the lives of Canadians from coast to coast to coast. As a youth activist, you can be at the forefront of efforts to advocate for social justice, fairness and human rights in our communities.

Our Youth Network is for workers under the age of 30. It offers exciting opportunities for young workers to get involved, learn about social justice issues and gain a wide range of skills and experience. These include the Youth Internship Program, a premier training and education program offered by our national office, UFCW Canada.

Through the youth network, you will also learn about opportunities to become more involved in your union. You will also learn how you can help advance and protect the rights and livelihoods of your co-workers. If you are a young worker looking to become more involved, contact our Youth Network Coordinator at This email address is being protected from spambots.
