Your union is aware that the Trustees of the No Frills/UFCW Canada Local 1000A Benefit Trust Fund, which covers eligible part-time No Frills employees, have very recently made a decision to amend the terms of coverage.
Your Union has filed a grievance relating to the funding of the plan and recommends that members save the receipts (or copies as the case may be) for expenses that are incurred which prior to the plan amendment would have been an eligible expense, pending a resolve to this issue.
Please note that full-time employees of No Frills are not impacted by this issue as they are not members of this benefit program.
