UFCW 1006A members at Centre Éducatif La Clémentine have ratified a new union contract.
The term of the contract is from November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2028 and covers 94 members.
"I believe the contract represents a positive step forward," said Nabouka Abraham, a member of the negotiating committee. "The contract includes significant improvements that address members' concerns, particularly regarding working conditions and support. While there are still areas for improvement, my colleagues reacted positively to the contract as it demonstrates that the members' voices have been heard and that real progress has been made."

The negotiating committee includes members, Nabouka Abraham, Henriette Aloki, Sylvia Bugeme, Mensa Joseph, Kalton Kumar, and Union Representative John Conway.
"Congratulations to our members at Centre Éducatif La Clémentine on their new union contract," said President Wayne Hanley.
