Local 1000A is proud to announce the launch of its first-ever PRIDE advisory group.
The first meeting was held in mid-April at the Local 1000A office in Woodbridge, Ontario and brought together members and activists of all ages and cultures.

Held in London, Ottawa and Toronto, the Community Action Network (CAN) BBQ picnics feature an all-you-can-eat BBQ and a variety of events for youth and adults. These include relay races, soccer, sumo-suit wrestling, face-painting and a jumping castle. Participants can also compete in an “Iron Chef” contest by bringing their own cultural dishes.
