UFCW 1006A members at Faster Linen in Toronto continue to improve their rights and livelihoods, as they recently ratified a new union contract.
The term of the agreement is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025 and covers 60 workers.
“UFCW 1006A is the best union in Ontario for laundry workers with a strong record of winning rights, improving work conditions and building a better life for our members,” said President Wayne Hanley. “We are proud of the work of our negotiating committee at Faster Linen for achieving a fair union contract that meets the needs of our membership.”
The negotiating committee included member, Merlene Noble, and Union Representatives Jonathan Lobo and Joshua Robichaud.
