This October, UFCW 1006A members and staff lit up the night skies in London, Toronto, and Ottawa in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).
The annual Light the Night fundraising events bring hope to those fighting blood cancers and honours family and friends lost to this terrible disease.
This year, Local 1006A’s three teams raised nearly $24,000 for the LLSC.
Since UFCW Canada’s long-standing partnership with the LLSC began in 1985, members have raised more than $54 million. Our contributions are funding life-saving research, supporting patients and families, and helping accelerate the discovery of new treatments that are giving more people the chance to live longer.
