UFCW 1006A members at Cambridge Suites Hotel in Toronto have ratified a new union contract.
The contract term is July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028 and covers 60 members.

Members of the negotiating committee included Myra Andaya, Irfan Fayyaz, Danny Fernandez, Frank Morris, Virgilia Omer, Ruth Yifter and Union Representative Michael Hurley.
Highlights
- Wage increases of 15 per cent for all members over the term of the contract
- An additional paid sick day for members working full-time
- Two additional days of bereavement leave for deaths in immediate family outside of Ontario
- Increased employer contributions to the benefit and pension plans
- Increased shoe allowance
- A new cap on daily checkout rooms in the housekeeping room assignment
- Recognition of employer-paid parking for staff
- Improvements to the Grievance and Arbitration Procedures
- Requirement for 24 hours of notice to members for any employer changes to shifts
