Even the rain couldn’t keep Local 1000A riders from the third annual Ride for a Cure event.
Despite rain showers throughout the day, nearly 23 bikers and passengers took to the winding backroads of Southern Ontario to do their part to help fund a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma on Saturday August 11.

Since adopting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada as its charity of choice in 1985, UFCW Canada raised more than $31 million for leukemia research. One of the ways Local 1000A helps contribute to this impressive tally is with our annual Cash Calendar fundraiser.
