UFCW 1006A members at the Hilton Garden Inn in Vaughan have ratified a new union contract.
“The UFCW makes a big difference,” said Ayesha, who works at HMS Host, which provides food services at Toronto’s Pearson airport.
“I feel like I am making a positive contribution to the community and to my fellow colleagues... it is fulfilling because you are making a difference in the worker’s life.”
UFCW 1006A members at Fresh City Farms (formerly Mama Earth Organics Inc) recently ratified a strong union contract.
