UFCW 1006A members at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Vaughan have ratified a new union contract.
The term of the contract is October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2027 and covers 30 members working in housekeeping, laundry and front desk.
“UFCW 1006A continues to transform the lives of hotel workers across Ontario by negotiating union contracts with strong gains and protections,” said President Wayne Hanley. “Our union has extensive experience representing members in the hotel industry. Our highly skilled union staff continue to raise the standards for all workers in hotel sector. The negotiating committee consisted of member, Carla Brown and Union Representatives, Joe Blythe and Frank Mensah.
