In a union, I don't have to fear being wrongfully fired because I know my back is covered. There are rules set up and people to make sure they're being followed. UFCW Canada Local 1006A members working at No Frills voted 80 per cent in favour of a new collective agreement with franchise owners at membership meetings and polling stations across Ontario.
Members voted on the six year deal at more than 60 meetings and polls.
Local 1006A members will have the opportunity to review and vote on details of the tentative agreement at ratification meetings and polls, which have been scheduled throughout the province.
