Ontario's Union for fairness, equality and respect at work.

Laura Fisher from Loblaws in Ottawa win Union Contest

In a union, I don't have to fear being wrongfully fired because I know my back is covered. There are rules set up and people to make sure they're being followed. This provides the stability I need while I study without the fear of being wrongfully dismissed. The union has helped keep a stable, and reliable job which I attend school and I couldn't ask for anything more!" Laura Fisher, Loblaws Great Food Ottawa.

No Frills Union Members attend ratification vote

UFCW Canada Local 1006A members working at No Frills voted 80 per cent in favour of a new collective agreement with franchise owners at membership meetings and polling stations across Ontario.

Members voted on the six year deal at more than 60 meetings and polls.

No Frills Union Negotiations

Local 1006A members will have the opportunity to review and vote on details of the tentative agreement at ratification meetings and polls, which have been scheduled throughout the province.

Your union strongly encourages you to attend the ratification meeting and/or poll in your area and have your say.

Connor Hartson is a Union Member at No Frills in Kingston

"I am very grateful to my union for protecting my rights as a No Frills employee. Upon starting my university studies in 2014, I applied for the UFCW Local 1000A scholarship... Since the union’s scholarship helped reduce the high cost of university, the union has made a positive impact in my life." – Connor Hartson, Gord and Kim's No Frills in Kingston
