To honour the Indigenous people in Canada, Local 1006A has created a special recognition which is posted at our union offices.
The statement reads:
"UFCW Canada Local 1006A would like to recognize and honour the Indigenous people in Canada who continue to live and work on these lands. The Local 1006A union office is located on the traditional territory of the Mississauga."
