Despite the pandemic, UFCW 1006A continues to help support life-saving research by helping raise $20,006 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).
UFCW 1006A recently welcomed cannabis workers from a third Tokyo Smoke location, this time at Scarborough’s Chartwell Shopping Center.
“Access to 10 paid sick days for workers in Ontario would have very simply reduced the spread of COVID in the workplace and saved lives,” said Katrina Miller, Program Director at The Broadbent Institute.
