Local 1006A members came out in force to the 2019 Canada National Indigenous People Day Conference.
Local 1006A had a strong presence at UFCW Canada's Young Workers Conference. The event took place in Ottawa from May 25 to 27, bringing together young members from across the country.
When we, as members, pool our resources together through our union dues, we create a strong safety net which enables us to protect the rights of our group as a whole and be an effective force in advocating for fair wages, benefits and working conditions at the negotiating table.
