On December 6, UFCW Canada Local 1006A activists, staff and officers came together together at a Shoe Memorial for the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
At this year’s Stewards’ Conference, we recognized five exceptional members who stepped up for their incredible commitment, dedication and activism through the “Outstanding Member Achievement” awards.
Health & Safety Representative Rick Young presented on Bill 132 at the Stewards’ Conference. The Bill amends a number of statutes in the Occupational Health and Safety Act pertaining to sexual violence, sexual harassment, and domestic violence.
